If you had the power to change one law, what would it be and why?
Changing one law wouldn’t change a thing. For every law we make or change, there are men and women seeking ways to abuse or break it.
The truth is we don’t want to be under law. Human nature is selfish. What we need to change is our attitude to law. To understand the rules of communal living.
We need to respect that we are all just big babies. The laws were there like parents to protect and guide us. There used to be divine law, but it was interpreted to suit selfish men.
Enter all forms of alternative law.
Okay, so what happens when babies want to change their parents (sometimes rightly so) because they want freedom from parental protection and guidance (which to be fair, could be toxic)?
We end up with a generation of babies who have grown into lawless parents escaping into a digital world on its way to enshittification.
Would changing one lawless parent in an enshittified digital world, make a real difference?
No. There’s a whole process to it. And it begins with retribution and an attitudinal change.
