And here are my 3 power ups. Every day, I practice gratitude, I do a little towards reaching a new goal and finally, I try to learn something new.
My new goal for this half year is to make my diet 70% more organic. As a part of that goal, I’m saving towards a food processor that can make smoothies, soups and chop vegetables.
That might sound unimpressive for a goal. Well, remember that this is your goal. The idea, above all, is not to focus on impressing anyone. Be sure your goal is part of a wholistic personal project you would be proud to achieve.
That said, there’s a backstory to my goal. The short version is any money that would normally go towards a sweet dessert or unhealthy daily snack is saved for the processor. It’s a sugar free way to power up my daily routine of self-care which includes a sweet indulgence.
It’s easy to get caught up in the routines of bill paying and childcare. Don’t lose yourself in the grind. Life has something exciting in store for you.
You know the way you build a happy relationship by creating memories and arranging activities together? Do the same with your own personal life. Make goals and create activities to achieve them.
Baby steps, and you could hit a milestone, no matter how small the goal. And that’s it! You could power up your daily routines.
